Why connect website visitors to your CRM?
Identifying website visitors is valuable, but without direct action it remains passive data. By activating your Leadinfo integrations, you transform every visit automatically into a sales opportunity.
Concrete benefits of a CRM connection:
Immediate action possible
Sales sees new companies appear as soon as they visit your site. No waiting time, no export rituals.
Complete context available
Leadinfo adds company data: sector, size, contact details, pages visited. Your CRM gets everything sales needs for a relevant first outreach.
No duplicate work
Companies that are already customers or in your pipeline are automatically recognised and enriched. You immediately see whether these are new opportunities or existing relationships.
Better lead scoring model
With CRM data and website behaviour combined, you build smarter triggers. An existing lead returning to your pricing page? You want to know that.
How does the connection between Leadinfo and your CRM work?
Leadinfo offers native connections with the major CRM systems: HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Microsoft Dynamics, Zoho, Teamleader and more. For other systems, you use Zapier or webhooks.
How synchronisation works:
Step 1: Identification
Leadinfo recognises a company based on IP address and enriches this data with company information from the Leadinfo database.
Step 2: Matching
The system checks whether this company already exists in your CRM (based on domain name or company name).
Step 3: Create or update
Is the company new? A lead or account is automatically created. Does the company already exist? The existing record is updated with new session data and page visits.
Step 4: Activate triggers
Based on predefined rules, you can trigger actions: a task for sales, a Slack notification, or an automated nurture email.
The connection is bidirectional: changes in your CRM are also fed back to Leadinfo, so you always see the most current status.
Step-by-step: website visitors to your CRM
For HubSpot, Salesforce and Pipedrive
- Log in to your Leadinfo account
- Go to Settings > Integrations
- Select your CRM and click ‘Connect’
- Authorise the connection (you’ll be redirected to your CRM)
- Configure your synchronisation settings:
- Which companies do you want to sync? (all visitors, only ICP matches, or only high-intent accounts)
- Which CRM pipeline do new leads go to?
- Which fields do you want to populate?
- Activate the integration
Within minutes, new visitors appear automatically in your CRM.
For other CRM systems via Zapier
- Create a Zapier account
- Choose Leadinfo as trigger app
- Select ‘New identified company’ as trigger
- Choose your CRM as action app
- Configure the field mapping
- Test the Zap and activate
Which data is synchronised?
- Company name
- Website/domain
- Industry (NACE code)
- Company size (number of FTE)
- Revenue
- Office address
- Telephone number
- LinkedIn profile
- Visited pages (last session + historical)
- ICP score (if configured)
- Traffic source (SEO, SEA, direct, referral)
You determine which fields you use. Not every CRM has the same structure, so the mapping is fully configurable.
Privacy and compliance with CRM connections
Leadinfo identifies companies, never individuals. This means you only synchronise business-level data with your CRM – no personal data such as names, email addresses or IP addresses of individual visitors.
GDPR-compliant processing
The connection between Leadinfo and your CRM falls under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR: legitimate interest. You process company data for commercial purposes, which is fully permitted.
Cookieless tracking
Leadinfo can operate completely cookieless. When you enable cookieless tracking in your Leadinfo settings, the platform recognises companies based on their IP address instead of cookies. Please note: some functionalities such as grouping sessions and screen recordings are then unavailable.
EU-only hosting
All data is processed and stored in Irish and German data centres. No data transfer takes place to the US or other countries outside the EU.
ISO 27001 certified
Leadinfo is certified according to ISO/IEC 27001:2022, the international standard for information security. This also applies to connections with external CRM systems.
Frequently asked questions
Can I limit the connection to specific companies?
Yes. You can set filters so that only companies that meet your ICP are automatically synchronised. This prevents your CRM from filling up with irrelevant leads.
What happens if a company is already in my CRM?
Leadinfo checks whether the company already exists (based on domain name). If so, the existing record is updated with new session data. No duplicate records are created.
Are all pages visited by a visitor synchronised?
That depends on your settings. You can choose:
- Only the last session
- All sessions from the last 30 days
- Complete history
How many CRM systems does Leadinfo support?
Leadinfo has native integrations with 70+ tools, including all major CRM platforms. For systems without direct connection, you use Zapier, Make or webhooks.
